Film Production and Development Internship

Three-month internship at the production company of award-winning independent filmmaker Misha Calvert. 10-14 hours per week, remote and in-person. These internships offer both practical training in film and TV as well as a significant educational component, including weekly presentations from the CEO about the industry, guest speaker series with industry professionals, and exit interviews to help craft your career strategy going forward. $100 stipend provided upon completion.

Three roles available:

PRODUCTION/DEVELOPMENT INTERN

-Working alongside established producers

-Learning about development process for film and TV

-Script coverage

-Shadowing directors and producers for development and production

-Liaising with film industry professionals

-Assisting as team takes projects through premise to production

-Online research about film and TV with presentation to the team

MARKETING/PR INTERN

-Working alongside CEO to assist in creating marketing campaigns for series and short films

-Graphic design for film posters, promotional materials, and social media

-Brainstorming and implementing brand identity

-Social media campaign management

POST-PRODUCTION/GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

-Working alongside professional editors on various narrative content

-Syncing video and sound materials

-Assistant Editing footage

-Brainstorming color and sound choices

-Assisting with post-production coordination

-Researching and presenting trends in post-production

-Creating visual or graphic elements such as posters and promos
