A Loudwire video internship allows you to create content for millions of other fans of heavy music just like you.
The Loudwire YouTube Channel (2M+ subscribers) creates community-focused content, delivering exclusive series with some of the biggest rock stars of all eras.
Our interns’ duties range from assisting with editing original content, pulling assets, thumbnail design, and social media strategies.
As a Loudwire intern, you will be embedded with our video team, working on pre- and post-production. You will learn how to produce content from an idea stage to its published state across a vast video and social media network.
INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Loudwire (a brand owned by Townsquare Media) seeks a talented, creative self-starter for a Digital Video internship. The intern will report to the Internship Supervisor and work a minimum of two (2) full days, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM.
This is a REMOTE internship. Interns are asked to provide their own computer, though we do provide a hard drive.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and editing of video content
- Assist with other requests from the production team as necessary
- Assist with the editing and publication of social media content
Requirements
- A strong working knowledge of heavy music (rock, metal, punk, alternative)
- A passion for what drives the interests of the heavy music community
- Dedicated follower of not only bands, but other content creators
- Analytical thinker who loves to identify problems and create solutions
- Adobe Suite (Premiere and Photoshop) experience strongly encouraged
- Mac Computer Preferred
