Financial Services Public Relations Internship

We are looking for three public relations interns to join us this coming summer. Although these are remote positions, you’ll be joining a fast-paced and welcoming environment that offers the opportunity to collaborate with, and learn from, a team of seasoned PR pros.

In this role, you’ll be reporting directly to a senior account executive (SAE) and lending meaningful support across our roster of financial services accounts. You’ll be working on concrete deliverables that make a difference to these clients, with tasks including but not limited to:

·      Preparing call agendas, briefing documents and reports for clients

·      Participating in client calls and taking detailed notes

·      Maintaining and organizing media lists using tools such as MuckRack

·      Helping to track and log client deliverables using project management software (Asana)

·      Conducting research to identify new awards and events that are relevant to our clients

·      Monitoring financial news to help us devise new story/ content ideas for our clients

·      Drafting media pitches and potentially interfacing with members of the media

·      Working on press releases, social media posts and other content
